Are you discouraged by the lack of fruit in doing good for the Lord? Don’t give up my friend. The Lord sees your good works and that’s what matters. How then do we keep doing good in spite of discouragement?
Jesus noticed people around Him and responded in compassion. Scripture informs us that Jesus “came not to be served but to serve others and to give His life as a ransom for many” (Mark 10:45 NLT). As Jesus came to serve, He invites us to do the same.
Friend, what cares and concerns are weighing you down? No matter what they are, please know that you do not have to face them alone. Scripture encourages us to cast all our burdens on the Lord. Let’s learn the importance of doing so by turning to I Peter 5:6-10.
Is the enemy bombarding you trying to discourage you and wear you down? Keep looking to the Lord, my friend. He sees you and is with you. As a believer in Jesus Christ, you can stand strong against the enemy.
Is God asking something of you that seems impossible? Something way out of your comfort zone? You may be thinking, “How can I possibly do this?” Thankfully, Scripture assures us that His grace is sufficient, for His power is perfected in our weakness.
Do you feel insignificant and unseen? Longing for someone to reach out to you? Let me assure you that your heavenly Father sees you and deeply cares for you. I am certain of this because God’s love for you is shown repeatedly in the Bible.
Are you feeling battle weary? Tired of seeing evil appear to triumph in this world? I am right there with you, my friend. But let’s not give up fighting for what is right no matter what the outcome.
